Halftimer Stories

Dabbs and Dale have hit a home run in Rwanda, launching a national micro finance company that today provides small loans to more than 30,000 poor women. They are basically breaking the cycle of poverty for those families. I have met some of these women and seen the impact of their work, and it is truly incredible. But perhaps the most interesting part of this story is the richness they have experienced by doing this together. In my own ministry, as part of the Halftime team, I have found that while our effort is profoundly rewarding, the older I get the more I value the richness of the friendships with my team. Seems that who you do your second half with is a big part of the blessing.
