Jan Hopwood
Dean Niewolny has been a top tier manager and successful executive in the financial service industry, earning many accolades and awards for his leadership. For the past 23 years, Dean has served in various executive roles with three of the largest financial firms on Wall Street. His most recent role being that of Market Manager for Wells Fargo Advisors overseeing a $100mm market in Chicago. Dean has been an active member of Willow Creek Community Church, along with his wife Lisa. It was through trips to Africa that they both felt a definite tug on their hearts for the orphaned and the widowed. They recently completed an orphan home outside of Durbin as well as helping support Orphan Network. In 2010 He left the marketplace to take on the role of Managing Director of Halftime. He is thrilled to utilize his gifts and talents to help more people understand their own passion and purpose in their second half of life. As one that grew up playing sports and eventually college and semi professional baseball Dean enjoys coaching youth sports, especially his son’s little league teams. Dean and his wife, Lisa, have two children, Kennedy Ann (11), and Caden O’Brien (8). They reside in Southlake, Texas.dean.niewolny@halftime.org
   

Lloyd Reeb
Lloyd Reeb is the primary spokesperson for Halftime and author of From Success to Significance and the Success to Significance Group Curriculum and Co-author of Unlimited Partnership. As a successful real estate developer, he made a Halftime transition in 1993, redefining success and reorienting his focus toward second-half significance. Lloyd allocates most of his time to leading Halftime events and experiences, and coaching individuals through this journey. In addition, he also allocates part of his time as director of leadership development at Mecklenburg Community Church. He is on the board of the Finishers Project, an organization of more than 70 leading mission agencies to help Baby Boomers find a significant second career in missions. Greg Murtha
Since joining The Halftime Group in 1999, Greg Murtha has served in a number of positions within the organization from President to Director of Marketing. Throughout his tenure, he has assisted others in accomplishing their desires as they relate to the organization—whether it’s supporting individuals as they take the first step into their Halftime Journey, or encouraging churches and organizations to develop strategies that will assist them in discovering and deploying leaders into service. Greg has been married to Tracey for 12 years; they have a 5-year-old little boy, Jackson Cole.

Jeff Spadafora
After 20 years of consulting in the leadership development industry, Jeff is applying his skills and passions toward helping others discover their true calling. As Halftime’s Director of Life Strategy Resources, he focuses on helping financial services firms support clients who desire to lead a second half of significance.  He also speaks to, teaches and coaches Halftimers through their journeys. Jeff coaches youth sports, is on the leadership team at his church, and is a board member of Christ in The Rockies and Joseph & Company.  He lives in Evergreen, Colo., with his wife Michelle, daughter Denika, and sons Neal and Quinn.  jeff.spadafora@halftime.org
   

Ed Kerns
Ed Kerns joined the Halftime team in 2007 after 10 years working with financial professionals in the property & casualty insurance industry as well as working as an entrepreneur. His desire to build relationships and ability to understand and respond to his client’s needs allowed him to most recently have tremendous success in opening a regional branch office for The Hanover Insurance Group. Ed has a heart to bring about change both in the marketplace and with individuals, and he felt he could have more Kingdom impact by leveraging his time and talent to help those who have already reached halftime. In his new role in helping to develop the financial professional’s network, he will work to assist financial services firms in adding value to their client’s lives. Ed has also been involved in micro-enterprise mission work where he has traveled to Indonesia and Mongolia. He is a member of Buckhead Church in Atlanta, GA. Ed.Kerns@halftime.org
   

Bob Durfey
Bob Durfey joined the Halftime team in August 2008. He currently serves as the Director of Local and International Initiatives. In this role he provides leadership and support to groups of Halftimers, throughout the U.S. and overseas, who journey together and sponsor Halftime events. Bob completed a 30-year Coast Guard career as a rescue helicopter pilot. He retired as a Captain, in June 2008, after overseeing the Congressional and Public Affairs NE office for four years. Bob received graduate level leadership training through the Coast Guard, Navy, Air Force and the Kennedy School at Harvard University. He served as Commanding Officer and Group Commander at two major commands, successfully integrating his faith and work. He is a motivational speaker, mentor and leadership advisor whose “second half mission” is to help others integrate their faith into work they are passionate about. He and his wife Carolyn make their home in North Marshfield, MA, 25 miles south of Boston. They have two adult children who love and serve the Lord. Their family scripture verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. Jan Hopwood
Jan Hopwood joined our Halftime team in May 2007. She has a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from University of Oklahoma. Prior to starting their family Jan & her husband lived and traveled in Europe and South America. While living in southern California and rearing twin sons she served as a Commissioner for the City of Mission Viejo. She and her husband, Tom, moved to Las Colinas in June 2006 and attend Irving Bible Church. Jan.Hopwood@halftime.org
